The best way to print on the e-mark Ribbons is to use the Ribbon Guide (How can I use the e-mark go Ribbon Guide).
The COLOP e-mark ribbon is made out of 100 % cotton. The length of the ribbon is 25 m and it is available in three differents widths (10 mm, 15 mm and 25 mm). The Ribbon Guide can be used for printing on these three different sizes - of course, you can also use your own ribbons.
With the continual printing function in the app, an imprint can be repeated endlessly and thus ribbons can be printed for wrapping parcels or for decoration.
Note: The 10 mm ribbon is narrower than the editor field in the app and printing heigth of the e-mark go (14 mm). Select 10 mm as height in the imprint properties in the editor.
Tip: If the black pigment ink is used to print the ribbons, the print remains beautiful even in a wet environment and the ribbon can even be washed to a certain extent.
Water-resistant cotton ribbon
If you use your printed ribbons in a wet or damp environment, for example to decorate a bouquet of flowers, it is recommended to use the water-resistant cotton ribbon. The special coating of the ribbon protects the imprint from environmental influences such as water and makes the imprint appear even sharper and more brilliant. For best results, we recommend printing on the outside of the cotton ribbon.
